COP 17/CMP 7(聯合國氣候變化會議會員國大會)將於2011年11月28日至12月9日於南非德班舉行，主辦國與大會日前於巴拿馬會議中由聯合國氣候變化綱要公約組織（UNFCCC）執行秘書Christiana Figueres，與COP17/CMP7會長，同時也是代表南非的國際合作關係部部長Maite Nkoana-Mashabane共同簽署。部長於簽約儀式後表示，感謝執行秘書的感謝與肯定，主辦國對德班會議高度期待，而主辦國諦約，內容包含會議所必需的準備要求，將是COP/CMP會議成功的關鍵指標。
Host country agreement signed for Durban Climate Change Conference
The Host Country Agreement for COP 17/CMP 7, which takes place in Durban, South Africa from 28 November to 9 December 2011, was signed in Panama today between UNFCCC Executive Secretary Christiana Figueres, and COP 17/CMP 7 President-Designate Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa. After the signing ceremony Minister Nkoana-Mashabane said: "It is indeed a reflection of South Africa's commitment to the success of the conference." The Executive Secretary expressed her gratitude to the minister and, on behalf of all, said: "We are very much looking forward to coming to Durban." The Host Country Agreement, which covers all the logistical requirements for the conference, is an important landmark towards the success of a COP/CMP.
